Course Description:
In your 200-hour teacher training, you may have had an opportunity to learn about the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. This module allows ample time for learning how to apply the ancient sage wisdom to your modern, contemporary life. You will explore how the book is structured, how the Sutras define yoga, and Patanjali's importance on yoga. The module studies "Atha Yoga Anushasanam", arguably the most important Sutra. You'll come to understand the prescribed relationships of the Vedas, and its significance to a student of yoga. By developing an understanding of the paths offered by Patanjali, in the Sutras, you'll learn how to overcome the obstacles to clarity.
