Frequently Asked Questions about Payments
What’s included in the Course Fee?
The total cost of the YogaLondon teacher training programme is £3,499. An initial non-refundable deposit of £799 is due to reserve your space on a course. Included in the fee is all tuition, examinations, a YogaLondon graduate vest top, and a Yoga Alliance Internationally accredited teaching certificate. You will also be given a YogaLondon Teacher Training Manual/Workbook on the first day of the course.
Acceptable methods of payment include direct bank transfer, credit card, or Paypal. For any queries about payments please call 020 3286 2534 or contact us. Payment plans do not incur interest to our students.
We offer additional perks for those paying their course fees in full or over 4-Months.
What is not included in the Course Fee?
Depending on the payment plan you choose, you may need to purchase set texts for the course (approximately £50). The course fees do not include Yoga Alliance International Membership (currently US$85) and yoga teacher insurance (approximately £50 per year), although some of our payment plans do include student insurance.
What is YogaLondon’s cancellation policy?
We strongly encourage applicants to consider the time and financial investments required to complete the YogaLondon Teacher Training, ensuring that the dates and times work for you.
- Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the training start date - You will receive a full refund minus £799 deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to start of the training - no refund available
In the event that you must interrupt, postpone or dropout of our trainings you agree to continue payments of all outstanding YogaLondon instalments. Dropping out of your training does not terminate this agreement; you must complete all of your course payments even in the instance you drop out. Full terms and conditions for the course are found here.
What are the financial repercussions for missing lessons on the course?
We understand that emergencies and other life situations do arise. We recommend that you carefully review your schedule and upcoming obligations to ensure that you can commit fully to the teacher training. In some circumstances the following options may apply:
- Missed Lectures: Private lessons may be scheduled with the course leader to cover missed classes, at an additional cost of £50 per class missed.
- Missed Weekend: If a student is absent from a full weekend they may attend the equivalent lectures during the following course. Fees apply.
Making up hours missed is offered only in the face of extenuating events and will be extended by the teacher training director on a case-by-case basis. No teaching certification will be offered until all course hours have been completed.
To avoid paying additional fees for missing lessons, we offer a free pre-arranged re-schedule of classes as a perk on our Full Payment plan. On the Full Payment plan, you may miss up to one full weekend of teacher training free of charge (equivalent to 8 two-hour lessons). This date must be pre-arranged with our admissions team before your course begins. Any lessons missed beyond this point or cancelled within 7 days may be subject to additional fees. Whilst we aim to organise for make-up sessions as swiftly as possible, missing lessons may delay certification. The teaching schedule is always subject to change, but we will attempt to give you as much notice as possible of any changes. Whilst we aim to schedule missed classes in the most efficient way possible, re-scheduling may require you to travel to multiple YogaLondon venues over multiple days.
How can I earn as I learn on the course?
YogaLondon students can start teaching public classes mid-way through their training course on a student insurance plan. This presents an extraordinary opportunity to gain teaching experience while you are continuing your education, and offers an opportunity for the training to pay for itself. Learn more.
